Track 28 / 166

AI App & SaaS Ideas

Pick, validate and ship a no-code SaaS MVP in 30 days — then sell it.

SaaS used to require a co-founder and £50K. Now you can ship an MVP with Lovable, Bubble, Cursor or Emergent in a weekend and get to £1K MRR in 90 days. This track covers idea picking, TAM × pain × WTP scoring, MVP stack selection, pre-build validation, launching without engineers, pricing, first-100-user acquisition, and the 90-day kill-or-scale decision.

Prompt 01

SaaS idea picker — TAM × pain × WTP × moat scoring

Score 10 SaaS ideas against a 4-axis framework. For each idea I paste, score: (1) TAM — how many people/businesses have this problem? (small niche <10K → 0, huge market >1M → 10), (2) Pain — how acute is the problem daily/weekly? (nice-to-have → 0, hair-on-fire → 10), (3) WTP (willingness to pay) — will they pay ≥£20/mo? (£0 free-only → 0, £100+/mo B2B → 10), (4) Moat — how defensible is this in 12 months? (any dev can copy → 0, network effect / proprietary data → 10). Kill any idea under 20/40. Rank the rest. End with the ONE idea I should validate this weekend + why.
Prompt 02

Pre-build validation — the £50 landing-page + 30-DM test

Design a pre-build validation sprint that tells me if my SaaS idea will fly BEFORE I write a line of code. 7-day plan: Day 1-2 build a 1-page Carrd / Framer landing page with the promise, 3 outcomes, waitlist email field. Day 3-4 spend £50 on Meta or LinkedIn ads targeting the exact avatar — I need ≥30 clicks and ≥10% email conversion to green-light. Day 5-6 send 30 personalised cold DMs to potential users describing the problem + asking if they'd pay [PRICE] for [SOLUTION] — need ≥5 'yes I'd pay' responses. Day 7 audit. The metric-gate — if I hit BOTH gates, build it. If I hit ONE, iterate. If NEITHER, kill it and pick another idea from the top of the scoring list.
